Welcome to the newly updated web site of the The Triple Helix at Brown University. We are pleased to share our global organization with you. The Triple Helix has grown enormously since its inception in 2004 due to intense student interest. Our publication is a unique interdisciplinary blend of issues relevant to science, society, and law, as we push the frontier of knowledge and attempt to reach the student community and beyond. The Brown University Chapter of the Triple Helix is actively seeking new members on campus. Undergraduates interested in positions as writers, editors, or Senior Staff members are encouraged to contact BrownTTH@gmail.com.

Summer 2008 Literary Deadlines
To all of our writers and editors continuing the Literary process over this summer:
Thank you for your hard work and exciting array of topics. These articles are scheduled to be published in our Fall 2008 journal.
Some deadlines to be aware of:
June 8......2nd Draft Due
June 26....3rd Draft Due (articles sent to Faculty Review Board)
July 20.....Final Draft Due
July 20.....Literary E-board selects International Feature articles

Science Policy (4/17) and Kickoff (4/26) Events
We are pleased to announce our Science Policy event, entitled The Science of Sexy. The event will invite several knowledgeable speakers on an academic interpretation the media's portrayal of beauty in our culture. The event will take place at 6 pm on Thursday, April 17 in Salomon 001. Dinner from Kabob and Curry will be served.
We are also pleased to announce the Kickoff Event for our Spring 2008 journal. Writers and editors will present their own work to their peers in celebration of the release of our new issue. The event will take place in Smith-Buonano 201 at 3pm on Saturday, April 26. Refreshments will be served.
